GroundFlow was founded by two lifelong friends from Hornell, New York—one a software engineer focused on exceptional user experience, the other a field operations leader who has spent years managing crews and complex projects. Together, we set out to build the platform we always wished existed: software that feels intuitive in the field, gives managers complete operational visibility, and connects every step of the job from scheduling through payroll and invoicing

Vince Li
CO-FOUNDER & HEAD OF DESIGN
Vince is a distinguished product designer and design leader. Prior to Opus, he was Director of Design at Managed by Q and Senior Product Designer at Moat. Vince also ran his own Design Studio in Amsterdam. He has the cutest kid on the planet, who is not named Opus. We tried.
Why We Started GroundFlow
We grew up together in Hornell, New York.
Years later, one of us was building software while the other was running field operations.
We kept seeing the same problem from opposite sides.
The office struggled to stay connected to the field.
Crews dealt with paperwork.
Managers chased timesheets.
Payroll took too long.
Work orders didn't match invoices.
Existing software wasn't built for the people actually doing the work.
So we decided to build it ourselves.
I think that story is far more compelling than a list of names.
